In this episode, we feature the voice of Al Spector, an advisor to non-profit and mission-driven organizations. Given the financial struggles of both our nonprofits and small business organizations we wanted to feature Al and ask him to share both his expertise and best practices to hopefully help folks through the process of securing funding through the various funding opportunities.

Al Spector is an advisor to nonprofit organizations and small businesses. He has served the nonprofit/social impact community in various roles: as an organization co-founder, as staff, as a volunteer, and as a director on several nonprofit boards. Before co-founding and operating a nonprofit to support Bay Area blind and vision-impaired sailors, Al held posts inside several manufacturing, distribution, and technology companies.
